Costume Cottage's Hire Agreement

Conditions of hire

1. All costumes remain the property of Costume Cottage Costume Hire and must be returned in good condition on or before the date of return agreed at the time of hire.
   
2. If the costume is not returned by the due date, it will not be available for re-hire and therefore overdue charges will incur at the rate of $10 per day.
   
3. If any part of the costume is damaged, lost or destroyed, there will be a forfeit of the bond held as security for the costume. All items must be returned or replacement costs paid for before security bond is refunded.
   
4. You may not alter, treat or adjust any costumes or parts of the costume in any way. Minor alterations can be arranged at time of hire and may only be carried out by staff of Costume Cottage Costume Hire prior to collection of costume.
   
5. Do not wash or dry clean the costumes before returning, as cleaning is provided as part of the service.
   
6. No adhesive name tags or pins are to be placed on any part of the costume.
   
7. Wigs - Do not wash, alter, cut or heat with rollers, hairdryers or styling irons.
   
8. Shoes and boots - Shoes and boots returned with damages that require repairs will result in the forfeit of bond held. Please do not try and remove any scuff marks as they require special cleaning products, removing non damaging scuff marks are included in the hire price.
